Enhancing Patient-Provider Communication about Sexual Concerns in Breast Cancer

Enhancing Patient-Provider Communication about Sexual Concerns in Breast Cancer

Study Summary

The purpose of this research study is to understand how breast cancer patients and providers talk about sexual concerns, about the kinds of communication they prefer, and about preferences for related educational programs. We will be using the information we gather in this study to develop educational programs for both breast cancer patients and breast cancer providers to improve how they communicate about sexual concerns. This may ultimately enhance the care breast cancer patients receive with regard to this issue.

You are being asked to be in this study for one visit which is expected to last about 90 minutes.
